R210-USB and GNUPG

Hi,

I'm interested in a particular device to use as Random Data Gatherer for 
GNUpg,
the device is R210-USB.

I see that linux drivers are presents, and I have checked also the sites:

and
http://ftdi-usb-sio.sourceforge.net/#0

to understand if is it possible to make this device work with GNUPG.

I saw that the device is seen as:
/dev/ttyUSB0.
So my question is:

Is it possible to use this device as Random Data Gatherer?
Have I to explicit some particular parameters during GNUPG compilation?
For example "--enable-static-rnd=</dev/ttyUSB0>

Do you have any experience about this?
