gpg --recv-keys 57548dcd
You need to have the corresponding key already in your keyring on your own
machine.
Use --keyserver keyserver.linux.it if you haven't got a default keyserver
setup.
gpg --list-keys 57548dcd
will then give:
pub 1024D/57548DCD 1998-07-07 Werner Koch (gnupg sig) <dd9jn@gnu.org>
and the verify will be able to check the signature.
