feature request // showing the session key of an encrypted message as it is being used to encrypt

would it be possible to have an option for GnuPG to display the session
key as it is being used to encrypt the message?

this way, the sender would be able to store the message sent, together
with the session key used
(both stored together, encrypted, if desired by the sender)
so that, at some later time, the sender can have a way of remembering
what was sent

(this can be done now by saving the plaintext with the message,
but is not the same as actually being able to decrypt what was sent)
