filenames of encrypted attachments visible ? How hard would it be to hide?

Yes, it is. Just have a look at the header of Ivan's message:
X-PGP-KeyID: 0xA5BDD19856098673 (1024D)

I guess you tried to download a key with key id 0x0E002DCC33645A55. 
That's the key id of the sub key that Ivan used to sign his message. 
Only a few keyserver currently support searching keys by the key id of 
a sub key.
