How to change gnupg quotation behaviour?

AFAIK gnupg has got nothing to do with this - this is either enigmail's or 
thunderbird's doing.

The only gnupg-related quoting issue is that a '-' at the beginning of a line 
is escaped by '- ' when using inline signatures.
