Awwww, what's wrong with mucking around with .am files when a release
is imminent? What could possibly go awry? Hehehe.
Cool though. Hope it'll work out for 1.4.2 and make it a little
simpler to package GnuPG with various distro packaging tools.

Werner, and any unnamed contributors of code)!
