Why are 3072 bit RSA systems not practical today? Except for situations
where very few data can be transmitted (text messages on your phone is
the only application that I can think of now, where an application
CryptoSMS exists that does indeed use ECC) even my old P3 computer has
absolutely no problems using 3072 bit keys (or even larger keys for that
matter, wether it is usefull or not).
