Converting from PGP to GPG

I just installed GPG on a Windows machine.

In my old PGP I used to enter:   PGP -seat  myfile.dat  "XYZ abc"  -u
Myschool    to encrypt transcripts and such before sending.

How would I replicate that in GPG ???
