If the key has been sent to a keyserver or to another user while that
signature is on it, deleting the signature from your local copy
obviously will not remove it from their copy. You can "revoke" a
signature and send the key out again; the signature is still there but
marked as revoked. You can also revoke user IDs, subkeys, or the
entire key.
