problem signing public key, ----- gets converted to - -----

I want to post a public key in a blog and sign the blog entry. The
problem is, that ----- gets converted to - -----. The reader can't copy
and paste the public key, he has to remove the "- " first.

Example...

-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
<public key>
-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----


- -----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
<public key>
- -----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----
<signature>
-----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Is there any way to fix this?
