Also, this would obviously end up in the history file unless you turn that off.
Better just invoke gpg, start typing and end with Control-D.

$ gpg -c -a
just a test


I use the GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG) in combination with Enigmail.
You can send me encrypted mail if you want some privacy.
