It doesn't sound that onerous to me. But I have to wonder what is
actually gained by selectively signing the uids? Doesn't GnuPG
calculate key validity based on all the certifications on a key,
rather than taking into account only the signatures on an
individual uid? So keeping track of selectively-signed uids on other
people's keys on an ongoing basis might be very burdensome indeed.
