GnuPG encryption using command line

Hi,

We are trying to use GnuPg in an automated system in java application
and below is our requirement .

1- We want to encrypt text file using command line and there should be
a pass phrase passed to that encrypted file via command.

2. whole encryption process should be automatic there should be any
prompt for pass phrase.

Can you please help us how to pass pass phrase via command , so there
should not be any prompt or manual work involve.
