No, I don't think so. I suppose a trust signature places the key at depth 1 in
the certification chain, whereas the depth can vary with assigned trust, and the
chain is cut off at --max-cert-depth.
But this is just what I would expect happens with a trust signature.
I use the GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG) in combination with Enigmail.
