Run

  gpg-connect-agent 'keyinfo --ssl-list' /bye

to see the keys gpg-agent is aware of.   See also

  gpg-connect-agent 'help keyinfo' /bye

and as Gniibe wrote, you need to put a key into sshcontrol.
