I think what you are looking for is

$ ssh-add -L

which will dump all the public keys known to the SSH agent. If properly
set up, your SSH agent will be gpg-agent, unless I misunderstand your
scenario.

The others are probably looking at an OpenPGP public key rather than an
SSH public key (again, a guess).
