import of GPG key doesn't work and doesn't give an error message

A question to both Robert and Marco:
Where did you get your gnupg(s) from?
In the above transcript it looks like it is querying keys.openpgp.org, which sometimes distributes keys without userids. Depending on where you sourced gnupg (upstream or a distribution) and whether you had a copy of the key already, gnupg may or may not accept the downloaded key.
If you change the keyserver to pgpkeys.eu or keyserver.ubuntu.com it should work.
