macOS recommended build options

Can anyone recommend which ./configure options to enable/disable for
general users on macOS? I'm creating a new v2.5.x macOS Homebrew
formula (pre-built package) macOS users, because Homebrew currently
only provides 1.8/2.2:

  $ brew search gnupg
