This is a gnulib test and as far as I understand it checks the alignment of
several types. No idea why is that, but probably it is used by gnulib itself.
You may want to bring that issue to gnulib mailing list at:
https://www.gnu.org/software/gnulib/

To see whether this may affect gnutls you could try gnutls' test suite
directly in tests/.
