Maybe, yes. But I do not experience any issues related to threading or locking with any other software on any of my systems. And they are all the same. I can see in gdb, that msmtp hangs trying to lock that mutex. I would send you the coredump, but it contains my authentication credentials. But to be honest, I did not expect anyone to be able to reproduce that problem.
