Not sure about differences between gcc and clang here. By tendency, clang is more advanced than gcc regarding sanitizers (from what I read).

But the main issue (IMO) is that UBSAN doesn't abort/error by default. Hmm, we already have -fno-sanitize-recover... Ah, we don't run the tests in `fuzz/` at all (runner asan.Fedora.x86_64).
