When compiling with the latest gcc on Fedora I get the following warning everywhere:
gcc: warning: switch '-Wchkp' is no longer supported
GCC used:
$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 9.1.1 20190503 (Red Hat 9.1.1-1)
I see there is a test in configure to see if gcc supports -Wchkp, perhaps it should be enhanced to figure out gcc doesn't like that flag anymore and suppress it.
