Could you elaborate a bit more about what do you mean with "epoll model"?

In general, polling is outside the scope of the library. For example, the [gnutls-serv](https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/blob/master/src/serv.c#L1594) calls out `select` by itself; that means it would be straightforward to rewrite it with epoll's level-triggered interface.
