thanks, I also noticed that and I looked into that already. But it turns out that the acceleration is GNU as and 64bit build specific, for those two reasons I was not able to evaluate this yet on AIX. I'll keep you updated when I got the chance to change build and tool chain there to get the acceleration enabled.
