Thanks for the report. I think point 3 is already handled by `check_4th_gen_intel_features`, while the other issues still apply. Could you check !1487 if it's sufficient?

Also I cannot reproduce `SIGILL` with `noxsave`, on Linux 5.14 & Core i7-8650U, where `/proc/cpuinfo` reports no `avx*` if `noxsave` is set.
