I was just about to work on this myself, thank you!  Looks good to me.  One minor comment: The code will only ever print one of tls-unique and tls-exporter, aren't there situations where both values are possible to print?  Instead of the version-related checking, the src/common.c code should just try to get the values from the library and print them if the library returns anything.  Although I believe everyone is better off forgetting the tls-unique mess anyway.
