Well, the error message was `Libnettle 3.6 was not found.` and looking at config.log we find
```
configure:13022: checking for NETTLE
configure:13029: $PKG_CONFIG --exists --print-errors "nettle >= $NETTLE_MINIMUM"
Requested 'nettle >= 3.6' but version of Nettle is 3.5.1
```
