@valdaarhun it would be awesome if you could work on this. Note that the connection ID extension is natively [supported](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9147.html#name-connection-id-updates) in DTLS 1.3, which is currently being worked on at !1667. Maybe you could first talk to @FrantisekKrenzelok to coordinate the effort.
