From my understanding, <a href="https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/merge_requests/714" data-original="!714" data-link="false" data-link-reference="false" data-project="179611" data-merge-request="14275240" data-reference-type="merge_request" data-container="body" data-placement="bottom" title="cert-cred: fix possible segfault when resetting cert retrieval function" class="gfm gfm-merge_request has-tooltip">!714</a> only makes a difference when the callback is set to non-NULL and then to NULL.</p>
