<p dir="auto">Why I argue about this is because on several occasions I remember with the test suite using <code>bash</code> allowed to make a test on a reasonable amount of time and with reasonable amount of lines (and bash itself is not the easiest thing out there for a test suite). Forcing the use of posix subset for shells will indeed allow tests but make them harder to write, i.e., increase development time and make the option of not writing a test more attractive.</p>
