<p dir="auto">I am reading the description above and I am not sure what fails and when. In openconnect/ocserv there is support multiple scenarios. What fails?</p>

<p dir="auto">The first, there is no notion of encrypt-then-mac because that's a constructed resumed session, and based on the way it was created there is no encrypt-then-mac extension on the original session.</p>
<p dir="auto">On the second, you write that ocserv doesn't negotiate EtM anyway. So I'm not sure what fails.</p>
