<li>using custom format of the tag is causing that downloading tar ball from tag generated tar <a href="https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/archive/gnutls_3_6_11_1/gnutls-gnutls_3_6_11_1.tar.bz2">https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/archive/gnutls_3_6_11_1/gnutls-gnutls_3_6_11_1.tar.bz2</a> which additionally provides base directory <code>gnutls-gnutls_3_6_11_1/</code>

<p dir="auto">Please consider change tagging convention from custom one to standard one consisting from munbers and dots.</p>
<p dir="auto">If current tag would be just <code>3.6.11</code> augenerated tar ball will be with base directory <code>gnutls-3.6.11/</code> because gitlab/github are autogeneratig tar balls like <code><repo_name>-<tag></code></p>
