<p dir="auto">You might need to amend it a little bit - but once it works for libtasn1, it's very easy to upload a new release.</p>
<p dir="auto">So you would make the next release similar to</p>
<ul dir="auto">
<li>git checkout master</li>
<li>amend NEWS and configure.ac</li>
<li>add a new git tag</li>
<li>git push --follow-tags</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">Now run the <code>devel/release</code> script to build the tarball and to upload it to ftp.gnu.org. For a first test run you can comment out the ftp command near the bottom.</p>
