<p dir="auto">So we have to move the code from <a href="https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/merge_requests/928" data-original="!928" data-link="false" data-link-reference="false" data-project="179611" data-merge-request="24262062" data-project-path="gnutls/gnutls" data-iid="928" data-mr-title="WIP: Use git commit or ChangeLog date instead of build date" data-reference-type="merge_request" data-container="body" data-placement="top" data-html="true" title="" class="gfm gfm-merge_request">!928</a> into <code>bootstrap.conf</code>. AFAIR, we only need $YEAR in one place and could set it there from the <code>bootstrap.conf</code> code. The use of the <code>git</code> command should be ok at that place.</p>
