<p dir="auto">This may be another example of <a href="https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/-/issues/1044" data-original="issue 1044" data-link="true" data-link-reference="true" data-project="179611" data-issue="50166345" data-reference-type="issue" data-container="body" data-placement="top" data-html="true" title="fix threading bug in libgnutls" class="gfm gfm-issue has-tooltip">issue 1044</a>.  The exact behaviour depends on what the state of malloc'd memory is.  Mine is poisoned which leads to an error on lock attempt, but if yours looked like the lock were already locked, this would be the behaviour.</p>
