<p dir="auto">On the extreme side, <a href="https://gitlab.com/codonell-rh" data-user="8333819" data-reference-type="user" data-container="body" data-placement="top" class="gfm gfm-project_member js-user-link" title="Carlos O'Donell (Red Hat)">@codonell-rh</a> wants to remove the <code>PT_INTERP</code> hack from <code>libc.so.6</code> because it has proven unreliable. Some of it is due to <code>libc.so.6</code> peculiarities.</p>
<p dir="auto">One thing that can break is a preloaded object (via <code>LD_PRELOAD</code>) that in turn depends on GnuTLS and has ELF constructors that depends on GnuTLS ELF constructors having run. The last part does not actually happen, I think.</p>
