There is some mechanism in the latest gnutls versions to connect to SMTP
and IMAP. Currently only danetool, and gnutls-cli-debug use it, but it
seems pretty easy to extend to gnutls-cli as well. I don't have a quick
solution, but if you don't want to use gnutls from git, check the next
gnutls release.
