[gnutls-help] gnutls and nettles-3.1

I'm am trying to build  gnutls-3.4.1 with nettle-3.1 on a solaris 10
system, and it is failing in the configure with:

checking for NETTLE... Unknown keyword 'URL' in
'/usr/local/add-on/nettle/lib/pkgconfig/nettle.pc'
no
configure: error:
  ***
  *** Libnettle 3.1 was not found.

and the nettle.pc file contains:

less /usr/local/add-on/nettle/lib/pkgconfig/nettle.pc
prefix=/usr/local/add-on/nettle-3.1
exec_prefix=${prefix}
libdir=${exec_prefix}/lib
includedir=${prefix}/include

Any ideas on what is going wrong here?
