As a note, today gnulib appears to have (possibly accidentally) made itself link against only windows 8 libraries by default. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnulib/2022-12/msg00072.html Maybe gnutls should set _WIN32_WINNT to be something lower so by default it can still work in windows 7?
