Afaik, pkcs#15 is meant to solve the driver-problem of pkcs#11.
So the pkcs#15 solution should be fully platform independent.

pkcs#15 support is part of the Ägypten goals.

About the reader: The Towitoko device looks nice
and probably will be the one we use to perform all tests.
However, final decision has not be made yet.
