Hello!
I expect my question to be well-known,
but neither on the how-to nor on faqs nor in the list's archive
I found an answer:
Kmail does not accept gpgme-openpgp.so as plugin.
I strictly followed http://kmail.kde.org/kmail-pgpmime-howto.html
=2D except for:
"Make sure you can work with gpg on the command line that you started=20
gpg-agent in (should use gpg-agent and pinentry-qt)."
I tried some basic command options of gpg,
but could not verify "should use gpg-agend and pinentry-qt)
How could I test this?
The error messages of kmail:
"The crypto plugin could not be initialized; the error message was .
Certificate Manager will terminate now."
"Content could *not* be decrypted.
Crypto plug-in /usr/local/lib/cryptplug/gpgme-openpgp.so can not decrypt an=
y=20
messages.
Please specify a matching plug-in from the
'Settings->Configure KMail->Security' dialog."
The gpg-agent ist startet in the .profile using:
# gpg-agent nur einmal starten!
GPG_AGENT_LOG=3D~/Tmp/gpg-agent.log
echo "vor: " `date` $GPG_AGENT_INFO >> $GPG_AGENT_LOG
test $GPG_AGENT_INFO && echo "gpg-agent l=E4uft schon einmal! " >> \\=20
$GPG_AGENT_LOG
test -z $GPG_AGENT_INFO && eval "$(gpg-agent -v --daemon --log-file \\=20
~/Tmp/gpg-agent.log)"
echo "nach: " `date` $GPG_AGENT_INFO >> $GPG_AGENT_LOG
The log-file shows, that exactly one daemon ist started.
(But, ist that variable known to kmail?)
Thanks in advance for any help.
