Hi,
I tried to compile libgcrypt from CVS and had to fix two things. My system is
Gentoo Linux 1.4rc2, with autoconf 2.54, automake 1.6.3, libtool 1.4.1.
a) scripts/admin.sh needed an additional "-a" for the automake-call, otherwise
the missing items in the scripts dir aren't generated
b) When running make, it still missed "../libtool". Don't know why it
specifically wants "../", but placing a link from the top level directory to
the system binary helped.
libkbsa didn't have these problems, it just said:
> Running libtoolize... Ignore non-fatal messages.
> You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to
> `aclocal.m4'.
> libtoolize: `config.guess' exists: use `--force' to overwrite
> libtoolize: `config.sub' exists: use `--force' to overwrite
> (...)
OK, so I'm ignoring them ;-)
It doesn't finish with the nice message "now run ./configure
- --enable-maintainer-mode" though (like libgcrypt's autogen.sh does).
I'm not done installing everything yet. Currently I'm trying to align the
instructions in http://kmail.kde.org/kmail-pgpmime-howto.html with those in
http://www.gnupg.org/aegypten/development.en.html .
