Certificates not containing an email Address

Hi all,

I have kmail with agypten stuff running fine so far. (S/MIME)

One Question:
We at siemens here have S/MIME certs which do not contain an email 
address. I do not know why, don't ask me... ;-)

Now if I write a signed or crypted email to someone the certmanager 
never finds the appropriate certs (The persons I mail to and mine). I 
always have to enter * and then select the cert manually.

However the name of that person does exist in the cert. And the name 
also exists in the email address (firstname.lastname@siemens.com)

Now is it possible to tell kmail/the certmanager/gpgsm/whatever to 
search for parts of the email address to find the proper cert?

The subject of our certs look something like that:
O=Siemens,(1.2.3.1.2.1.1201.1.1.2.2.12=A0001ABC,1.2.1.1=Schiffbauer,1.2.1.12=Marc)

Any hints?
