Do I have something mangled? thanks for your report! Can you give us the precise version of GPA you have this problem with and the operating system? (This will shorten the time for the (mostly volunteer) developers to reproduce the problem.) Best is to open an issue in the problem tracker for GPA for this http://wald.intevation.org/tracker/?group_id=13 (This will make sure the point is not forgotten.) Linux OS, CentOS 5 The version of GPA I am using came from the Dag repository and the file is: gpa-0.7.0-1.2.el5.rf.i386.rpm (Dag runs a little behind on versions...) The gpgme also came from the Dag repo and is: gpgme-1.0.3-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm Since I did not make the rpm or build it from source, I have no idea what options, if any, were used for compile. Since this might have been corrected in a more recent version, should I still file a bug report, or does anyone know if this is still an issue in 0.7.6? I can reproduce this on a KDE desktop. It seems to be limited to the Qt variant; the GTK variants work. In fact, the Qt variant seems to ignore the "no-grab" setting, or at least interprets it inconsistently with the GTK variants. ---------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht ---------- Subject: Bug#429938: /usr/bin/pinentry-qt: pinentry-qt: does not show up in window list Date: Donnerstag, 21. Juni 2007 13:22 From: sean finney To: Debian Bug Tracking System Package: pinentry-qt Version: 0.7.2-3 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/pinentry-qt i'm using pinentry-qt from kmail, in a gnome desktop, though it's probably a general problem. here's the scenario: i'm in my mail program, and while navigating through messages i?pass over a message encrypted to me. gnupg-agent starts the pinentry program, which pops up to recieve my passphrase. however, if the focus goes back to another window (which it might do if i tried to navigate to another message before realizing what happened), i can not alt+tab through the window list to get back to the pinentry program. it shows up in the "task bar", and i can click there to re-focus on the pinentry program, but that seems to be a little buggy... There is no problem to install a second gpg binary; it will share all options and keyfiles withy any other properly install gpg. Shalom-Salam, Werner
