There is a new button now to select the expert level (basic/advanced/expert). This affects which options (and potentially even components) are actually visible in the dialog. Also, a bug was fixed that showed empty groups, and some padding was added to the sides of the notebook. OK, recently I got an update of my kdepim packages to version 20080109 r758806. And hooray - no more garbled messages! But now I can't decrypt them :-( since it says: Unsupported algorithm. And this is confusing! As you can see from http://tinyurl.com/38fx3e my old kmail version was able to decrypt the message. Is thunderbird doing something non-standard compliant when it omits the "smime-type=enveloped-data" header or is this a problem in kmail? Or am I missing something here? > > BTW: Your first tinyurl did not work for me. Oh my, there seem to be known issues both with thunderbird and kmail: http://www.nabble.com/forum/ViewPost.jtp?post=10012362&framed=y https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379625 Still, I don't understand what's really going on. I'd appreciate some guidance here. Is there documentation on the transient stuff, so that one can try to properly understand it? Marcus
