Message-ID: <20050125211601.GA2200@quark.standalone.it> Hi everyone, I recently received a message from a GnuPG.org user who complained that our site doesn't provide any information on available keyservers. I was wondering if such a page could be feasible. I imagine a page similar to those for FTP and WWW mirrors: a list of possible (not necessarily reachable) keyservers. Would that page be useful? Or the round-robin approch of wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net-like keyservers is enough? For example, I use as my first keyserver. Alternatively, we could provide a simple page about keyservers and how to discover them. In this case, I don't have the necessary skills and information to write down something useful. Let me know what you think about. -- Lorenzo Cappelletti - Webmaster at http://www.gnupg.org/ Fingerprint: 8CDD 3408 53B2 6122 99DA EE37 1523 68FC D906 4C08 From envite at rolamasao.org Wed Jan 26 02:32:48 2005 From: envite at rolamasao.org (Noel Torres) Date: Wed Jan 26 08:09:42 2005 Subject: Keyserver page? First, in the place of an introduction, "about keyservers and how to discover them", and then, as the main body of the page, "a list of possible (not necessarily reachable) keyservers" with an appropiate note saying something like 'These are not all, are external to us, we do not guarantee them, and if you inform us about errors or changes in this list we will invite you a beer'. The list must also be ordered by countries (I think) and have fields like "server type" (HKP or what).
