native en_US speaker here -- i have no problem with either "annual" or
"yearly", and i don't know any en_US speaker who would be confused by
either term.

Additional side note: I prefer "membership dues" (sounds more like a
union or a membership organization) over "membership fees" (sounds more
like a gymnasium, health club, or industry consortium).  But again,
either one will be fine.
