As we still have quite a lot of money I think we should start supporting some projects. As a first Idea I have asked Thomas Obernd?rfer from Mailvelope for some Ideas to improve the GnuPG <> Mailvelope interface. I think that this is a good starting point because with Thomas we have someone that we can easily pay and the GnuPG Mailvelope integration is a cool thing that is fully in our intrests. His suggestions were: - Improve the documentation / onboarding. -- Make it more prominent on the mailveope hompage, extend the wiki etc. -- Especially with a focus on how to use Smartcards with Mailvelope through GnuPG. - Easier installation on all Plattforms. Currently only Windows installation is smooth as we offer that as an optional component with Gpg4win. Maybe the Gpgtools developers were - Bugfixing / implementation improvements. I wanted to get more input / suggestions from other Verein members and I guess then we could ask Thomas to write a short bullet point proposal and which we then can agree to fund. Please keep thomas cc'ed in replies because he is not subscribed to this list. Best Regards, Andre P.S. Another Idea to fund would be to improve the Claws Mail installer / create "easy" documentation how to migrate from Thunderbird to Claws. If you know anyone interested in that or want to discuss this please open another thread. -- GnuPG.com - a brand of g10 Code, the GnuPG experts. g10 Code GmbH, Erkrath/Germany, AG Wuppertal HRB14459 GF Werner Koch, USt-Id DE215605608, www.g10code.com.
