Compilation problems

Hi there,

I'm playing around with KMail S/MIME integration etc... I dl from CVS as in 
http://www.gnupg.org/aegypten/development.en.html and compiled. After some 
trouble I got libgcrypt to compile cleanly and installed. Further packages 
like dirmngr or newpg fail on libgcrypt. the test programs in libgcrypt fail 
with segmentation faults. Backtraces are (I think) useles:

I run a somewhat stock mdk 8.2
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk)
gllibc 2.2.4

Any hints for this miscompile or instructions to get more informative debugs.
