Sure, I will try the dynamically linking. Can you please help me with that? I've never done this before...

Can it be because collectd cannot find the installed libgcrypt package? I give collectd build the path to /usr/local directory. Maybe that's the wrong directory...


Can you also please let me know what's teh default installation directory for libgcrypt?
